The 4 Stages of Reconciliation
Realization – An awareness that there is a grievance. An acknowledgment that there is a problem.
Identification – Empathizing and understanding the aggrieved.
Preparation – What are you prepared to do to reconcile? …
Activation – The action(s) that are necessary for change.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (2 Corinthians 5:18).

‘This MinistryOfReconciliation.World (MOR.W) involves calling upon men in the world; all which have received the reconciliation of God. However, the forgiveness of sins does not make us righteous. Therein we have the responsibility to inform the world, “Be ye reconciled to God.” This is accomplished by the obedience of faith BELIEVE the Gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 1:15;1-4) and RECEIVE (Ephesians 2:8-10) the gift(s) of God, in essence the Holy Spirit and His regenerative work. You are a new creature (Titus 3:5) possessing eternal life (salvation) and made the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). Paul considered himself, and all who are…born again by faith alone in the gospel of Christ alone. We are ambassadors for Christ in the ministry of reconciliation.
His International appeal to them is as though God did beseech you by us and his desire is, for the sake of Christ, for them to be reconciled to God. He does not call upon them to change themselves DIY: Self-reformation (Romans 3:20) for he has already established that it is God who does the reconciling (vs. 18). Rather he is asking them to submit to the reconciling work of God. We will look at the call and commission of Ambassadorship later.
The faith of the gospel is that emotion of the mind, which is called trust or confidence, exercised towards the moral character of God, and particularly of the Savior.
To “reconcile” (Gr katallassō) is to remove enmity between two enemy parties. In the strictest sense it involves “a change of mind.” Romans8:5-8; 5:8-11; Ephesians 2:3
Hebrews 9:27 Two Judgments: Dying is an integral part of life. As eternal beings choose quality over quantity be reconciled to God and have both. Those not reconciled to God will have quantity but no quality of life.
Romans 14:10 Judgement Seat of Christ: Those reconciled to God by the Obedience of faith Works Rewarded.
Revelations 20:12,13 White Throne Judgment: Their works have been Rejected. The interesting thing is that those who rejected the gospel of Christ won’t be at the white throne judgment because of sin. They have been forgiven with Christ incurring and paying in full the sin debt for the entire world. They are not even there for unbelief because Christ took that away with His incarnation. After all He can’t deny Himself. People at the white throne judgment will have themselves to blame not just for their works of righteousness being rejected. Reason being they refused while they were still alive to “Be ye reconciled to God.”
