- Romans 10:9-10, 13 is WORKS BASED. We are not SAVED nor CONFIRMED by our WORKS (Galatians 2:16). CONFESSION is a WORK, CALL is a WORK. They apply faith to their dead works of confessions and calling but what have they believed? Their WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS because the SPECIFIC REVEALED gospel of CHRIST (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) has not been mentioned which requires faith.
“…Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law” (Romans 9:32).
Romans 10:14 IS TELLING: scripture bear out that they have not heard (as in what was preached) the SPECIFIC REVEALED GOSPEL OF CHRIST (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
(Romans 10:14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
