17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
We now turn our attention to our identity as new creatures in Christ, we are ambassadors for Christ. God has given us the ministry of reconciliation, committed unto us the word of reconciliation and has made us the righteousness of God in Him. He has called and commissioned us as ambassadors for Christ with the mission to carry out the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith “Be ye reconciled unto God” BELIEVE the revealed gospel of Christ

God Qualifies the Call: We are called of God. He has made us His Ambassadors for Christ.
We are to follow the apostle Paul in the revealed gospel of Christ, even as he follows Christ. We walk in and after the abiding Spirit of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1). Jesus’ earthly ministry has culminated in Paul’s ministry to the Gentiles, therefore it is not about discipleship rather Ambassadorship.
Our citizenship is in heaven Philemon 3:20: Called into His kingdom 1 Thessalonians 2:12.
Ambassadorship Our Called Vocation
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation where with ye are called, Ephesians 4:1
We are the (((sound))) or the voice of the word of God that goes into the world. It will accomplish where unto it is sent and not return void. The world does not know that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, and has forgiven all our sins through the atonement of Christ. We only have good news that God has forgiven us without our asking or works of righteousness. God has reconciled us to Himself based on the finished works of Christ, whether we accept Him or not. However, forgiveness of sins does not make us righteous. Each of us bear the personal responsibility while we are alive to “Be ye reconciled to God” by the obedience of faith. BELIEVE the gospel of Christ, RECEIVE the gift(s) of God, which is eternal life. You are a new creature inclusive of the regenerative work of Spirit made the righteousness of God in Christ.
