CHAPTER 1
THE AUTHORITY AND THE AUTHOR OF THE WORD OF GOD?
All scripture is given by inspiration of God. God’s word is truth. Teaching must be tested by the law and the testimony. Man is to live by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Jesus has all power in heaven and in earth, and His words will judge in the last day. The scripture cannot be broken. If a man speaks, he is to speak as the oracles of God. God commands that nothing be added to His word and nothing be taken away from it. His word will accomplish what He pleases. The law of the LORD is perfect, and the testimony of the LORD is sure.
